Huber, Trinity Lutheran Seminary, 2199 East Main Street, Columbus, Ohio 43209, has just completed World Lutheranism: A Select Bibliography for English Readers (Lanham, Maryland: Scarecrow Press, 2000). The 299-page volume is No. 44 in the American Theological Library Association's Bibliography Series. The bibliography covers the period from 1580 to 1996 and is arranged by topic. It includes books, doctoral dissertations and a few pamphlets. Works cited are mainly historical, biographical or sociological. Don reports that he began serious work on the bibliography during his sabbatical in 1993-1994 and completed it in 1999. Most theological libraries will receive it as part of their ATLA subscription, but for others the price is $65 (cloth), plus $4 shipping. To order:
Russell C. Kleckley, Newberry College, Newberry, South Carolina, has been elected president of the Board of Trustees of the James R. Crumley Jr. Archives for 2000-2001. He succeeds the Rev. Donald Poole, who remains on the board as an at-large delegate. Frederick S. Weiser, Parrehof, 55 Kohler School Road, New Oxford, Pennsylvania 17350, was honored on 2 April 2000 on the occasion of his 40th anniversary of ordination. The event held at Christ Lutheran Church, York, Pennsylvania, featured The Majesty of Chorales, with special help from Mr. Vilis Holms, Riga, Latvia, Evangelical Lutheran Church of Latvia, and instructur, University of Latvia and Luther Academy, Riga.
